Up2U’s Mission Statement
These Principles are intended to be different to the prevailing principles in the commercial world, and to produce discernable difference in Up2U’s business:

1. Up2U’s prime objective is trading to maximise wealth through commerce, measured by the following terms (in the order of priority given):
a. Reasonable contentment of staff and officers
b. Reasonable contentment of customers
c. Reasonable contentment of suppliers
d. Sustainable growth
e. Profitable business
f. Return on capital to providers of capital according to their stake

2. Up2U will trade with uttermost business ethics, including:
a. Goodwill towards people
b. Honesty in transactions
c. Fairness in pricing, payment and service
d. Openness in trading, employment and management

3. Up2U will support charities, including accepting roles as appropriate with charitable organisations, e.g. as sponsor

4. Up2U may publicise this Mission Statement and seek to propagate its principles to other businesses

5. Up2U will not:
a. trade with partners whose stance directly contradicts Up2U’s; e.g. Up2U will not engage with notoriously unethical suppliers or customers
b. show any partiality towards Christian believers, especially in employment
c. permit Christian believers that Up2U engages to undertake faith-activities reasonably discomforting to non-believers Up2U engages
